Dictation, Format & Tidy and the voice agent use AI credits. Pro adds 1,000,000 credits each time your subscription is billed; Team adds 1,000,000 per seat to one shared pool.
Use depends on the job: longer notes, more rewriting and longer recordings use more. As a light guide, tidying a short section uses about 1,580 credits and dictation about 833 credits a minute (50,000 an hour). That is roughly 20 hours of dictation or 600 short tidies per 1,000,000 credits.

The AI features (dictation, Format & Tidy, the voice agent) pause and tell you there are not enough credits. Everything else keeps working: writing, sharing, files and the live crew link.
Credits come back when your subscription renews, or straight away if you buy an extra pack (Pro and Team only): £4 for 1,000,000 credits, up to 10 packs at a time, from Settings → Credits in the app.
No. Every batch of credits — monthly or an extra pack — expires 30 days after it is added. The oldest credits are used first, so a new month’s credits are kept for last.
No. Crew open the share link or scan its QR code in any browser — phone, tablet or laptop — with no account and no app.
The main share link is a long, unguessable URL. You can also turn on a short link, which always asks for the password you set. Sections you restrict stay off the crew view, and you can replace a link at any time so the old one stops working.
Google Drive (Pro and Team): files go into your own Google Drive, in a ShowDocLive folder for each ShowDoc. We never make them public. If you disconnect Drive, the files stay in your Drive and the links in ShowDocLive stop working until you reconnect.
Fast Storage (Pro and Team, 1 GB): files are kept in private cloud storage run for ShowDocLive. Files added through a File Upload Link are stored here too.
Either way, crew can only download a file through the ShowDoc’s share link (and its password, for short links), and only from sections they are allowed to see.
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Plan in the app or from the Stripe billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you can undo the cancellation before then.
After that the account moves to Free. Your ShowDocs are kept, but Free can only create one ShowDoc and does not include AI, Google Drive, Fast Storage, File Upload Links or Grok Bot.
