Start, pause, resume
The show caller button reads Start, then Pause, then Resume. End show is separate. Rehearsal does not pretend to be the performance. Read the show caller page for the live controls.
For the stage and the event floor
Build the cue list for the stage, let the clocks follow the durations, and stop emailing a spreadsheet called final. ShowRun is that run of show, in the same project as your crew show doc. Broadcast crews call the same sheet a rundown. Pro is £8 a month.
Instead of the spreadsheet
A production schedule in Excel is fine until doors move and half the crew are looking at the file from this morning. A separate speaker timer tells the presenter how long is left and nothing about who is next, which radio channel, or where the hold is.
ShowRun is the cue sheet for the stage: cue number, start, duration, end, description, notes, who is responsible, private notes, and any column you add. Type a duration and the later start and end times move. A bare number is minutes, so 6 is six minutes and 0.5 is thirty seconds. A show can cover more than one day. Walk-ons, keynotes, films, panels and holds are rows on that sheet.
Bring the sheet you already have. Import Excel or CSV. Columns from a file this app exported map themselves. Anything else can be added as a column, mapped into one you have, or left out. If the clocks in the file do not agree with the durations, you choose whether to keep the clocks or keep the lengths. Export back to Excel or CSV whenever someone still wants a file.
While the show is running
The show caller button reads Start, then Pause, then Resume. End show is separate. Rehearsal does not pretend to be the performance. Read the show caller page for the live controls.
Keep to time re-anchors the active cue to the schedule you planned, without skipping ahead. The stage timer can be nudged by a minute or five, and locked so the next cue reloads its own length.
Share a crew link for the run of show. It follows the show. Private notes stay on your side of the desk. The contacts and the venue notes stay in the show doc, which has its own link.
Hands busy · Pro credits
The voice agent takes a spoken change — move a cue, set a length, add a block — and applies it as one undo step. A text agent does the same from a box. Dictate into a cell if you would rather talk the note and keep the wording. Format & Tidy cleans a cell without touching the cue number or the clocks.
Those tools spend AI credits. Pro includes 1,000,000 credits each month. The run of show itself, the clocks and the crew link do not need credits. If the credits run out, calling the show continues.
FAQ
Run of show software is the cue-by-cue plan for a live event: each moment on stage, how long it is, when it starts and ends, and who it is for. ShowDocLive ShowRun is that run of show in the browser. Change a duration and the later cues move. The crew can follow on a link.
Yes. Import an .xlsx workbook or a CSV into a run of show. Columns this app has exported map themselves. Any other column can be added, mapped onto one you already have, or ignored. You can export back to Excel or CSV. The crew share link is kept when you replace the cues.
The later start and end times follow the durations, so a longer cue pushes everything after it. Keep to time puts the active cue back on the planned clock without jumping to another cue. You can also nudge the presenter timer by one or five minutes.

They are two names for the same timed sheet. Stage, corporate and awards crews say run of show. Broadcast, studio and livestream crews say rundown. ShowDocLive keeps both on one ShowRun sheet. The rundown page uses the broadcast wording.
No. The crew link for the run of show leaves private notes off the page. The caller still sees them on the desk.
