Call sheet · production document · crew notes

The crew show doc that replaces the PDF on the call sheet.

Write the schedule, contacts and technical notes once. Share one link. The phone in a pocket, the tablet on the dimmer rack and the laptop at front of house all show the version you just saved.

The sample show, on a phone. Contacts become cards. No pinching.

The same page on a laptop. Section chips jump to the schedule, the running order, the technical notes and the venue.

On the day

One link instead of a thread of attachments

If the doors move, you change one line. You do not mail a new PDF and hope the old one is deleted.

Write it in sections

Schedule, key contacts, running order, technical, venue, safety. Reorder them. Lock a section when the client should not see the crew channel list.

Share a link or a QR code

The long link is unguessable. A short link always asks for your password. Print the QR code on the call sheet. Regenerating a link retires the old one.

It updates where they already are

The crew page is a normal web page, built for a phone first, and it works the same on a tablet or a laptop. Light or dark, including in a dark auditorium.

Who uses a show doc

Production managers, stage managers and the crew who are not at the desk

Corporate conferences, awards nights, theatre calls and touring weeks all end up with the same pile: a schedule, a contact sheet, a venue note and a rider. ShowDoc is that pile as one page. A touring crew keeps the same link from city to city, with a section per venue.

People who need to edit a section, but who are not on a paid seat, can have a contributor link for the sections you choose. Team is for colleagues who should see the shared list of ShowDocs and draw from one pool of AI credits.

When the show itself starts, the timed sheet is ShowRun in the same project: a run of show on stage, a rundown in broadcast, plus the show caller and the stage timer. The show doc stays the place for everything that is not a cue.

Files and tidy-up · Pro

Plots, riders and a supplier who will not make an account

Dictate a section while you walk the room, then Format & Tidy turns the wording into something the crew can read. Google Drive files stay in a ShowDocLive folder in your Drive. They are not made public. Fast Storage holds up to 1 GB in private cloud storage. A File Upload Link is how a hire company drops the plot into the right section.

You can export a document as a PDF, or save the whole project as one .sdl file and import it as a new project later. Share tokens and passwords are not inside that file.

White-label, if you need the public crew page in your own name, is £750 a year. The editor you and your team use stays ShowDocLive.
