# Show caller software

Show caller tools in ShowDocLive run the timed sheet live. Stage crews call that sheet a run of show. Broadcast crews call it a rundown. The button reads Start when the show is idle, Pause while it is running, and Resume while it is paused. End show is a separate control. Rehearsal is its own switch, so a run-through is not the performance. Lock edit stops a stray click from rewriting a cell while you are calling.

You set a show time, the wall-clock moment the show is planned to begin. The active cue is marked. The next cue is marked. If you open the show after the planned start, you can jump to now or begin at cue 1.

Keep to time re-anchors the active cue to its planned start. It does not skip to another cue. If you are past the planned end, the remaining time shows the overtime.

A crew link lets stage management follow without an account. Private notes are not on that page. Contacts and venue notes stay on the crew show doc.
