# Run of show software

ShowRun is the cue-by-cue plan for a live event: each moment on stage, how long it is, when it starts and ends, and who it is for. Change a duration and the later cues move. It lives in the same project as the crew show doc.

Stage, corporate and awards crews say run of show. Broadcast, studio and livestream crews say rundown. They are the same sheet. The broadcast wording is at https://showdoclive.com/rundown.md

Columns: cue, start, duration, end, description, notes, responsible, private notes, plus columns you add. A bare duration is minutes: 6 is six minutes, 0.5 is thirty seconds. A show can cover more than one day.

Import an Excel workbook or a CSV. Known columns map themselves. Any other column can be added, mapped onto one you already have, or ignored. If the clocks in the file do not agree with the durations, you choose whether to keep the clocks or keep the lengths. Export back to Excel or CSV. Replacing the cues keeps the crew share link.

The crew link for the run of show follows the show. Private notes stay off that page.

ShowRun is not on the free plan. It is included in Pro at £8 a month and Team at £5 per user a month (minimum 2). The voice agent, text agent, cell dictation and Format & Tidy use AI credits. The run of show, the clocks and the crew link do not. Pro includes 1,000,000 credits a month. If credits run out, calling the show continues.
